Working With PMC or Art Clay Silver and Cork Clay

Working With PMC

It has been difficult learning to work with PMC but each day brings new discoveries. I have been working with cork clay in order to make hollow pieces. The price of pure silver has gone so high that making some pieces hollow will allow you to make salable items that it would be too costly to make otherwise. The cork clay burns off at 900 degrees F leaving you with a strong silver piece. Just make sure your silver is thick enough to stand up on it's own. I recommend no less than 3 cards thick.

Here's todays creation

Textured Pure Silver Heart Pendant With Swarovski Crystal

The sparkle of this PMC 99.9 pure silver pendant is brilliant as the light hits all the facets of silver and crystal. It is a one-of-a-kind delicate, feminine artisan pendant. This is definitely a couture piece. It measures 19mm x 14mm. 1 inch is 25.39 mm.
It comes with a 18" sterling silver long and short chain with a lobster claw clasp. Other sizes available.
